Mepis 6.5 kicks butt!!!

I just burned and booted the Mepis 6.5 release and this thing is the sh*t!

I am blown away by how everything is just working right out of the box. Granted, my hardware is older and pretty standard (Celeron 2.0 ghz cpu, Asus Intel 845 chipset mobo, 512 mb ram, GeForce4 MX 4000 Nvidia video card, 320 gb ide hard drive, LG dvd-rw, built-in Intel sound and Realtek ethernet), but Mepis just hums and picked up everything, even the correct resolution with default boot.

I am very impressed. I'll test this for a few days just to make sure the apps are stable, but this release looks sweet.
