Beta 7 to 6.5 upgrade

Cant' find how to upgrade from 6.5 beta7 to the new stable release. My synaptic package manager is up to date. I tried apt-get upgrade?? Still shows beta 7 release on the login page.

I have the same version number on the header above the login box. I know i have upgraded to current, see the next thread

probably missing the mepis artwork and mepis looks package.
Do a search in synaptic with for all packages with the word mepis in the name and install them.
