No further updates since 6.5 final came out

Upgrading MEPIS

Hi: I have Mepis 64 6.5 rc3 and I was receiving updates fairly regularly up until about the time 6.5 final came out, then I haven't received any updates (via synaptic) since. Have updates been discontinued for rc3 because 6.5 final came out? If so, do I need to upgrade to 6.5 final to continue receiving updates? If I need to upgrade, can I do so without losing all my application installs and configuration changes, or do I simply have to bite the bullet and do it all over again (wifi, bluetooth, nvidia, 32-bit games, yada, yada, yada).

If you have RC3 installed and performed all the upgrades, you'll be in final. No need to re-install. There have indeed not been upgrades yet. Warren is at the moment working on a fix for a CD drive problem that some people are having, so you can expect an upgrade of some mepis packages in the days to come.
