Kghostview doesn't work
I tried to open a pdf document with kghostview and it display the document blank.
Kpdf works fine but when I open document from firefox the default application is kghostview.
When I clic on a pdf document on my dekstop the default application that open it is kpdf.
Question: can Mepis fix this problem about kghostview?
Now I changed the default apllication in firefox option and set kpdf.
Thnask.

I have seen the same thing, and so now use acroread as the default app. You can configure your browser (at least Opera, which I use) on how it handles pdf files--I have mine now set to automatically load them in acroread.

But these are workarounds, not final solutions--problem may be in KDE?

I also have the same experience and did the same thing, change to KPDF. I actually found the fonts and general appearance to be poor in kghostview, KPDF is much better.
