I found this picture and added the pyramids. It's no where near ready to use as a wallpaper, but I like 3D look.

Attractive bit of work indeed, but having it for larger desktops would be even better, as EnigmaOne said. I must confess to not using the default Mepis 6.5 wallpaper because I find it pretty bland and quality alternatives are most welcome.

Personally, I like the direction it's headed in (the pyramid coloration is pretty good and the perspective views look spot-on); although, if the source image is under 1600 in width, you're looking at limited utility as a desktop background.
