Jpg file folder previews

Why is it when i open a folder containing JPG pictures only Some of the files are displayed as a small icon/preview.
maybe out of 20 files I only see a preview for 4 of them.
It would make it easier to browse my picture files if all the file icons displayed as a small picture.

In the default settings Konqueror shows only a preview of files with less tham 1MB. You can change that in the Konqueror settings.

Seems to be something to do with the size of them. Other than that I have no idea.
