Unsupported audio formats?

Can anybody tell me which of the following audio formats are supported out of the box in MEPIS 6.5?
--MP3
--WMA
--AAC
I ask b/c we have introduced a new practical section into the Wiki on moving from Windows to MEPIS, building on suggestions and work by Ko:

http://www.mepis.org/docs/en/index.php/Windows_to_MEPIS_migration

That whole section could use review if anybody has the time--thanks in advance.

Too easy or too hard?

I have since figured out that MP3s will work, but still know nothing about the other two and would be grateful for a response.

Not sure about AAC but there

Not sure about AAC but there are two types, one is the free format and another is the one with DRM that you might get from iTunes the one with DRM doesn't play for sure, the other one is kind of open format (can be played by anybody) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Audio_Coding#Licensing_and_patents

WMA - may be a problem

I believe that WMA is Windows Media Audio, in which case it seems to me you would need Windows licensed codecs for your player in order to play the file. It may be that somewhere out in the great interweb there are greyware codecs you could download but I don't have a source.
