MSI PC54G3 Wireless PCI Network Card, installation?
Hi,
I've bought a MSI Wireless PCI NetworkCard, cauz I've read some where that the driver will be include in the Ubuntu Kernel 5.05 or so(and because of Mepis good driver support).
But it seems that the Card wont be recognize by Mepis (wont be shown up under Network devices).
May I do something wrong, but, if the driver is integrated in the distri, isn't it correct that I only have to plugin the Card, switch on the PC and do my Wlan settings?
By the way, the same problem I have with two Broadcom Wlan USB Sticks, they should be supported (search on Mepis side and Forum) but they actually wont run.
Is there Help?
Thanks
Bob
Edit: Sorry, over read that there is a special part for Wireless Networking. Could some admin please move my thread too "Wireless Networkcard", thanks.
May it would better if there is a extra option for Network instead of taking it to the printer's part.

Yours is a Ralink PCI card --
Take a look here http://www.mepis.org/docs/en/index.php/Wireless_connection
Then post back either here or at Mepislovers
http://www.mepislovers.com
If you need help with the Broadcom cards, post separately and search either forum for Broadcom -- there are a lot of posts.
