Am I mad or is there away to open a zip file in MEPIS?

If you left click on the zip (or other archive file) in Konqueror you will be able to see the contents (and view or run them)
zip unzipped!

Thank you folks ... I can now open a zip ... what else can MEPIS do? This is truly great stuff.
... mind you I'll probably be back soon with some other challenge for you in the not to distant future ...

There probably isn't enough room or time to answer that adequately. Suffice it to say that you can do more than you can do with windoze...well, except for crashing. windoze still has a corner on the market for instability.

Right-click on the zipfile in Konqueror Filemanager.
Then select an extract action.
Zipfiles are extracted with ark.
