But ndiswrapper is not cooperating. When i type:
ndiswrapper -l, I get nothing right now.
So i install my driver (know it works, cause it worked in pclinuxsos)
ndiswrapper -i NetAni.inf
I get
couldn't open NetAni.inf: No such file or directory at /usr/sbin/ndiswrapper-1.9 line 217.
But when i do Ndiswrapper -l, I get
netani : invalid driver!
I am guessing ndiswrapper is not case sensitive...or its using the wrong NetAni file...Is there a spot i should stick my driver for ndiswrapper to dind it? Any other magic commands to try? It has been 3 days of frustration now...
TIA

Hi EnigmaOne,
Thanks for the info. Turns out Mepis already has a netani.inf driver...somewhere. I kept installing this bad driver. Over and over again. Even reinstalled from the 64bit version to the 32bit in case that was the problem...If I knew where it was, I would squash it right now...2 days of ndiswrapper fun...
I am posting using my wireless card...seems to work well. It took forever to connect though, is that a first time thing? I thought it was frozen there for a minute...
Anyway, thanks again, now my wireless works, printer works (MFC-210C), my scanner works (integrated), next step, the integrated fax

Can't say anything except I've found various wireless cards to be all over the place on initial connect times...seems to be a luck of the draw type of experience.
Let us know how you do on the fax-side with that MFC-210C. I don't have one (an AIO PSCF machine), but am considering one for the kids' OnLine HighSchool use. Having something that isn't junk would be a nice change of pace in the AIO-PSCF venue.
How's my posting?

You need to run ndiswrapper (as root) from the directory containing the .ini and other associated driver files.
