USB Hard Disk

Hi, I have a problem to mount my USB Hard Disk in Mepis. The message that appears with the dmesg command is:

The USB Hard Disk has 80Gb. The other devices are OK (digital camera, pendrives of 512Mb and 1Gb., digital recorder, etc.).

The device works ok under other SO, ie, Red Hat 4 and Windows.
