Thank You To Everyone

Well, the mepis.org forum will soon be closed. But it has been a very good learning experience, and a great way to share ideas and solutions.

Thank you to all of the moderators and posters who have shared things on this forum. See you all on mepislovers! Smiling

Jon

The ability to comfortably use a computer is directly proportional to desire to listen, learn, and experiment, and is inversely proportional to the fear, anger, and stubbornness that you show.

How's my posting?

What a shame

I hate to see this forum close. I think it's good for a distro's developer to host a forum.

I've enjoyed the time I've spent here and appreciate the patience everyone had with me along the way.

Best Wishes for Continued Success to All!

Jim C.

How did that manage to get posted?

Is this closed or not?

Testing...

Edit: Huh! Looks like you can stil add to existing threads, just not start a new thread. So we can continue to use this thread until the cows come home!

Yep, that's the same way I felt when the mailing list stopped.

And is the reason I would like to propose a new news group and I'm seeking help!

Anybody running "xnews" and can make a post to "alt.config" with the subject: "alt.os.linux.mepis" and the below stuff in the body of the message. Please. Smiling
