pop up blocker

How do I disable the popup blocker? Better than that would be a setting that allows certain webpages to do popups from but that would still deny other sites that privilege.

Mozilla's Pop-up Blocker

Are you referring to Mozilla's pop-up blocker? If so you can enable/disable it in Edit>Preferences>Privacy&Security>Popup Windows

If you choose to use Popup-blocker you can add selected sites to enable their pop-up windows.

The Opera Browser has something similar under File>Quick Preferences>accept/deny pop-up windows etc.

I don't know about Konqueror...... seems like it must have something along the same line....

If there is a pop-up you know is coming and you wanna let it, i.e. the address pop-up in hotmail, press cntrl then click.?? Pressing control temporaritly shuts off the blocker.

If you're using Firefox, when a popup on a site is blocked, a small icon appears in the lower-left hand corner of the window (a circle with an "i" in it, IIRC).?? If you know you want this site to be allowed to pop up windows, click that icon, and Firefox will bring up a dialog that will let you "unblock" it.
