User managment in Mepis...suggestion

Another thing that bothers me a bit is the lack of a user management program.?? I feel it would be wise to include this in the MEPIS control center so that the root user can control user/password from a centralized location.?? Not only that, but it would be wise to line up samba/windows/linux logins and pwords with a few clicks of a button.?? An annoying thing I've run into with samba is the fact that my macro$haft username/pword and linux username/pword do not line up.?? If there were a way to incorporate this into the control center and streamline the creation/maintenance of said usernames/pwords...it would make this distro tough to beat.
