Mepis Terminal Server with LTSP

I just got it working with the http://ltsp.org Debian packages.
The terminal works faster than the server itself, though being just a P3/450 w/o hdd and only 64 MB RAM.

It was a bit difficult with the Mepis 2003.08 version because the LTSP setup scripts expect all files to modify at the places where they are in a standard Debian install. So XAccess wasn't automagically configured to accept X11 terminal connections from everywhere. Had to search for a while to find this.

Anyway, it works and I'll write it down in a nice howto over the next week.

Cheers!

LTSP ...

Yes, the howto is ready but is only valid for 2003.08.01.
Warren already updated and rearranged some packages in 2003.10 to make it LTSP ready. You could work the ltsp.org docs from top to bottom and have a Mepis Terminal Server.
