About the HowTos Section -- updating?

Just out of curiousity, is the HowTos section on the website homepage ever going to updated? I do not mean to sound sarcastic, since the forums serve a great purpose for problem solving, but still, the section is practically empty.
Furthermore, if it is ever going to be updated, can members submit entries? I have a couple of issues I feel others might benefit from knowing about, and I don't think posting to the forums about an already fixed problem is very effective.

I can move anything worthwhile around the site
but I haven't had an excess of time to start rearranging anything.
Then I need to check with Warren on the proposal before actually starting to move stuff around
I don't think that that is a major hassle, it is just being polite.
