Installing WMP codecs for Xine

I finally got tired enough of clicking on a video link only to discover that the target file is Windows Media Player format that I did something about it.
I googled for xine codecs and found the following site; http://marillat.free.fr/
I added him to my apt-get sources. Next I ran the apt-get for the w32 codecs and WMP format now plays beautifully in Xine.
He's got a fair amount of stuff in addition to the xine codecs but I have not yet explored his site further myself.

asf extensions for the WiMP killer Xine

Xine in my SimplyMepis 2004.04 took the WiMP files in asf with no problem by default. They didn't sound great anyway.
Saved them from www.concertchoir.net and selected Open With in Konqueror, and 'remember this', so if in the future, God help me, I have to open a WiMP file, it will be very easy.
