It just take 5 minutes (really) to get his Adsl going.
1. Download the eagle-usb driver on www.eagle-usb.org
2.Extract the archive whereever you want.
3. Cd to the new created folder named eagle-usb(version...)
4.Open a terminal
5. Type: ./configure (if there's something missing, try to update it, and read the messages carefully)
Type: make clean
Type: make (you should get no errors)
Type: make install
6. Configuration of your account: type 'eagleconfig' as indicated. (without the '').
For france, enter 8
Then, your account name: for wanadoo users: fti/.....@fti
Then, your password.
7. Surf on the net, by typing startadsl.
8.Simple, no?

Can you tell me wich version of mepis and eagle you have ?
I have a simply mepis 2004.04 and i tried eagle 2 without succes.
./configure failed -> "error: kernel-sources cannot be found!"
I installed : kernel-headers-2.6.7.deb , kernel-source-2.6.7.deb, linux-kernel-headers_2.5.999.deb ...
then "ln -s??kernel-headers-2.6.7 linux" -> still the same error. I even tryed with kernel sources from kernel.org and "ln -s??linux-2.6.7 linux"...
if someone??has already configured eagle-usb with??simplymepis,??
please?? help me!
ps : peut-etre es-tu francais jeredox ...
