CD-ROM device problem with SimplyMEPIS RC4
I can't read a CD-ROM on SimplyMEPIS 2004 RC4 in "root" mode, or simple user.
I have this message :
?????? X -Please check that the disk is entered correctly.
"I tried with lots of CD !!!"
But then I start KsCD for listening music, its functions !
What is the problem ?
PS : mount partition or other block "crash" then I try to mount my CD drive.

I have forget precise that it is only with KERNEL 2.6.7 "crash and message error"
With kernel 2.4 it is "little long" but it's functions.
