Network Problems (D-Link DFE-530TX)

I have some network troubles with Simply Mepis. The installation went perfect, all my hardware was recognized. Also my network-card, (D-link) and the correct modules were loaded (via-rhine, mii), so at first sight, everything worked perfect.
But after a while (circa 30 minutes) my network justed stopped. Sometimes it happened while I was listening to streaming music, sometimes when I'm surfing, I don't think it has something to do with one particular package.
The only way was to reboot to get my network again, but that's not a solution I can live with.
I was using mepis 2003-10 up to now and I never had a network problem before, so I wonder what has changed from 2003-10 to simplymepis. It seems simplymepis uses the ipv6 module and 2003-10 didn't, so I tried not to load the ipv6 module by putting this line: install ipv6 /bin/true in /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf but the problems with the network remained.
I tried simplymepis rc2, rc3 and rc4 and it was always the same problem: after a while my network died.
I liked simplymepis very much, so if anybody has an idee how I could solve the problem, please let me know.
