Starting up layout (its abit of a problem when login in and get a non-Latin layout)

well this is a problem i encountered in the login.
??
after successfully getting my Hebrew layout to work OK KDE (Hebrew with Latin on the same layout) i encountered a problem: when i log in graphically and want to input my password (which i am not telling you), i found out i can't do it because i am typing in Hebrew.
??
how can i select which layout would MEPIS start on?
