I've got a Canon i550, and I can't find a way to print to it.?? I've heard that turboprintwhatever works, but I would rather find something free.?? Are there any other drivers that will work for it?
The i-series seems to be missing completely from linuxprinting.org.

hello, i need just to print, is there a working model for i350 as well? I used to try all available canon models, but nothing happened... how do i find out if it works with another model?

Whitch version of Mepis are you using? There have been a few changes along the way.

i have an i550 that works fine for most things . just set it up as a s600 . the setup wizard and Mepis will correctly identifie it as an i550 but when the driver database comes up pick canon s600 it will load that driver .?? and in the discription field just type in canons600 .?? should work fine . if not yell . ;>)
