Playing Games on Mepis and getting slow FPS?

If these questions below apply to you read on, otherwise the issue isnt relevant to you. This can apply to other distros (tho I have no verification of it)
Are you using an Nvidia card?
-Do you have the latest drivers installed and verified? (using glxinfo in console)
-Are you getting slow FPS? (below 2000 in glxgears in console)
-If so try commenting out the Option NvAgp "1" in your Xf86-config file (found in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4) Commenthing means putting a # in front of the line so that the system doesnt read that line and you can easily restore it should it not work.

Hopefully this quick solution can alleviate many of the Nvidia driver related issues many are dealing with. This applies to those who are playing games and are having issues with slow framrates on ALL the games.
