KWiFiManager broken on Testing 05/02/12

Not sure what is the Mepis convention for designating releases, so using "Testing 05/02/12" to designate the testing release of Feb. 12, 2005.

This is to report that KWiFiManager is broken. Installed it on a Fujitsu C 355 Lifebook with embedded 802.11g wireless. Wireless works fine from installation, but for some reason KWiFiManager seems not to be able to detect that it is working, even after trying many ways to reconfigure it.

Don't see a way to post attached files to this forum, and a complete report on some further problems needs that, so I will make further reports on problems I encountered to Warren.
