I really dislike the new web site of Mepis

Any hope to get back the simple and clean mepis web site we had till some days ago? The new one seems to me really too complicated.
Thanks

Like the new page a lot. Gets a 9 out of ten for me. But would like an internal site search instead of, or in addition to the Google search.
The new mepis?

New mepis old mepis, personally I think Mepis sucks. I installed the software about 20 times in 5 days before I finally got a good *.iso image and all the while I was reading forums and writing info@mepis NEVER one time did I get a response. phuck mepis, I went back to windows.

It may take some time to get acquainted with the new theme and layout, but the content and taxaonmy are identical. The forum categories are almost identical, and you can find the same information as before.
As far as searching goes, the previous embedded search feature plain and simply was horrible. The new search block allows you to search this site, mepis.com, or the web by using Google's site search feature, which is much more powerful than the previous search option provided. As stated earlier it is not possible to please everyone. I think Warren and the Mepis team are doing their best to provide the most up to date features for the Mepis.org users, and whether you like it or not everyone is doing their best.

I can't get it to work outside of default settings. It is no wonder Windows rules the computer world. And to top it off. I have asked for specific help, no replies, I am just $50 USD poorer. Buyer beware I guess, Windows rules.

Hey mrthrun, rather than posting in lots of different unrelated threads, please monitor your thread with the problems in it!
Why don't you check your previous post:

That's good advice. I am willing to give this another go around. I just hope I am met with success. I know I have a lot to learn and need to be patient. However, if you spent $49 and had to reinstall what will now be 11x I am sure you'd be venting as well. And just for the record, that $49 was for a subscription to help with MEPIS in good faith. But we will see. I am currently download the latest test version of which I have been warned not to update.

Please don't run around the forums complaining about donations, that's kind of tasteless. I understand that you are frustrated but nobody forced you to pay anything.
Give it time to learn Linux ways, nobody should reinstall it 11 times.
Please post questions not rants.

That might work fine, but it's really meant for testers to report bugs back to Mepis.
