Why can Suse when Mepis can't?
Why is it so hard (impossible?) to get nvidia TNT2 functioning in Mepis 3.3? In a former Mepis distribution I succeded but now I think I'm giving up. In Suse the only thing to do is to mark "enable hardware acceleration" and thats it. But I don't want Suse, I love Mepis.
Yes, I have done exactly as described, edited the X-conf file and so on and as I say above, there was no problem in a former Mepis.

Thank you for your answer. BUT, switching to Mepis 3.3 was just what I did as I wrote at the first line in my question.

i have viper card with TNT2 on mepis 3.3 install went great better than 2004.6
