KFontView not working in 3.3.2

I am unable to get KFontView to function. Has any one managed to solve this? The window comes up when I click on it. But trying to when trying to view fonts -no joy. Appreciate some help on this one guys.

Firebird... do you mean Firefox? Anyhow, I found that there was no "default" page for that URL. Instead I had to type in: http://localhost:631/printers
I hope thats all you needed. If not, perhaps you should look into the firewall settings.
Also another test just to see if there is a daemon at the other end of the pipe: from a command line type in:
If it connects you, you can at least conclude that a daemon is listening on that port.
