Dvorak Keyboard && KDM

Posts: 1

Hello everyone,

I've installed MEPIS and set the local system keyboard to Dvorak as well as the KDE settings for my user. However, KDM still uses QWERTY and I must use it to log in. I know that I could solve this by changing the global setting in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and restarting X, but this is cumbersome and requires knowledge of X ahead. I was wondering if there was an easier way in MEPIS (or, for that matter, in KDE) to set KDM to use Dvorak.

Thanks for your time.

Control Center -> Regional &

Control Center -> Regional & Accesibility -> Keyboard Layout -> Layout Tab

Dvorak is listed in there as Dvorak (I didn't see it the first time either Sticking out tongue).
