Printer drivers
Posts: 10
I have a Canon PIXMA Photo Printer (iP6000D). I have read many forums and I ended up on Turboprint for the drivers I will need. Unless there are other suggestions. Forgive me but I am a nuster in Linux and I have tried so many different ways to install this application to get the Canon drivers and I fail. I was wondering if someone would give this nuster STEP-by -STEP instructions on the installiation.

The version is 2004 the latest release and the kernel is 2.6.10. Awesome, where do I get a list or help on commands. I like the "uname -r".

Hi,
I have seen the drivers in the mentioned page (Turboprint).
What I can do is to download the drivers and try to install them.
I need you to tell me what version of Mepis do you have and what kernel version is running. To know the kernel version just open a console and type: uname -r
