3.3.1 X11 shows black screen on Averatec AV3250HX
3.3.1 live CD and hard-drive installation both show black screen on console 7 when kdm starts.
Workaround was to control-alt-F1 and then copy XF86Config-4 from a 2004-4 installation.
I push this configuration (http://plg.uwaterloo.ca/~gvcormac/averatec.html) so it would be nice if the live CD actually worked!
[Second comment: the RT2500 driver basically works but I still haven't figured out a deterministic, let alone automatable, sequence of commands to get it going.]
