USB Wireless problem.

Hello All,
My attempt to get wireless working in 2004 point and click Mepis were unsucessful. I used ndis to install. Trying ndiswrapper -l gave the following. Installed ndis drivers sis163u
Hardware not present.

I have now tried the Mepis 3.3 version. Still not working but more progress with ndiswrapper -l reporting ok. The drivers seem to have installed and the Mepis info shows an unknown device on USB. The first load screen when starting Mepis shows it as an SiS device which is correct.

Below is an excerpt from dmesg.

Does anyone have suggestions as to what I need to do now to get it to work.
