Who has a good sources list file these days?

I was running an apt-get upgrade and almost got through it til one lookup puked.

I had commented out the nerim source which was hanging up for days.

But after about 20 mins. my connection to debian main timed out somehow.

Is this stuff working for anybody?

Here's mine from /etc/apt/sources.list

I just checked these out a few moments ago and they are all good. Should give you a total of 27 files to download for your sources list. Carefully note which are commented out.

Weird. Some of these list look like the
one I had before removing the the non us and
nerim ones.

Today I finally managed to do an upgrade.

I have not added any of the sources shown here yet.

Hi. I'm very new to this.
Have tried FC5 but couldnt even get online!, Mepis works much better, but just like yum was dodgy, so is apt-get update not working. I've tried editing my pico /etc/apt/sources.list as above, but still cant get libdvdcss2.. Also if someone could point out how I can get screen res up to 1200x1024, I'd be very happy. I have a BenQ FP951 lcd display and an invidia Geforce fx5200 card and Mepis 3.4-3 from Linux format DVD. I'm in Australia.

I'm hoping I can play commercial DVD's again, just like I could before on that evil operating system that has been rotting my brain for the last ten years or so...
