Linksys (WUSB11) USB wireless support
Posts: 1
I am new to Linux and MEPIS. I have installed MEPIS 3.3.1 without difficulty. I am not able to get my USB wireless to work. I use an old Linksys WUSB11. It is correctly detected as a USB device but does not function in KWIFI . I would greatly appreciate if anyone can explain or direct me to a link that describe what I need to do to get this connection running.
Thanks
Just something I noticed

The wireless support seems to work better in the ver2.6 then it does so far in 3.3.x dont know if this is tru for all or just what I have ran into so far

I feel your pain! I too have a WUSB11 and cannot get it to work. I am also new.
Did you find a solution?

I was wondering if you found a solution to getting the WUSB11 to work? I also have an older WUSB11 that I want to use with MEPIS but have not had any luck getting it running. If you found a solution can you post it (with step by step instructions please!). If you did not find a solution is there anyone out there with the answer and step by step instructions. Oh and telling me to recompile the kernel does not help me unless you also tell me how to do that. I am new at this so patience is appreciated.
Thanks
