3.3.2-test3 no sata drives

I just installed Mepis 3.3.2-test3 on a system that had bee working fine with earlier versions. Unfortunately I don't appear to have the sata_sil or sd_mod drivers on my system, which makes one of my drives unreachable.
Is this a known problem with 3.3.2-test3, or is this a problem with my installation. I did come across another person in the forums with a sata problem, but that was with 3.3.1, which works fine for me.
I'll be installing an earlier version again, since I need some information from my sata drive.

I jumped in saying there was a problem before checking all of the possibilities. The power connector was loose, and pushing it back in place seems to have fixed things.
I'm still confused about why sata_sil ans sd_mod don't appear in my lsmod output. I can find them in the dmesg.

So does your sata drive show when you boot your bios?

any ways here's what i asked.
When u boot do u see your sata drives at the end of bios boot? Cause i was actually thinking this was a setup issue. When i boot mine it shows the sata just before starting load.
