In kde 3.4 if you have lost the delete function when right clicking a file and only have move to trash then:

open file manager super user mode

enter root password

select settings > configure konqueror

in behaviour section enable show delete context menu entries which bypass trashcan

click apply > ok

You're No Fun!

Hippy, by your documenting all of these "new" KDE changes you're taking all the fun out of the "KDE Revolution" Smiling

Thanks though for finding some of these "sticky points". KDE has so may little adjustments that can be done, they can easily get lost. And it looks like KDE 3.4 is trying to make the default system more like that other OS...

Keep up the good work!

Jon

Yeah jon

A couple of more updates like that and we won't even have mepis it'll just be a complete debian machine. LOL. All the sighn's of mepis have been replaced,it only say's mepis on the os center. I think mepis better jump on this quick if they want to keep there name around.
I'm fixin to remove mine again though, i'm down loading that single cd of super-openSUSE-beta4 for a little bit of testing, i wanted there enhanced version to play with but it ain't out yet so i'll just check out there stock stuff for now.
