Nice _legible_ fonts for Konqueror and elsewhere

My new setup of Mepis 3.3.2 is going better. I've switched over to Konqueror so I have more font adjustment.

If I have the fonts set at 11, what is a good selection of fonts rather than the standard issue?

What I've noticed is: the font styles which are mostly Lucinda are thin
whereas they might be more legible bold or perhaps a change to different font set altogether.

So for the text box area, what is the selection process? I never know one from the other.
