hardware check

Hope nobody minds if I have posted to wrong board but as I am having fun installing mepis on my pc, funny partitions, no sound & sometimes having to switch on/boot twice I am wondering if I have a hardware problem. The same installation disc on my laptop has none of these problems

I don't mind. Is that 2 vid cards installed and a on board chip? You've got a nice setup. Are you still getting those partion problems? What is switch on boot twice? What do you have pluged in externaly?

By boot twice I mean, switch on pc, choose mepis and a few moments later it stops booting/freezes. Switch off pc & try again and it boots straight through to graphic screen.
I have a printer attached and the info is based on what Everest found but I assume I do not have two video cards although it refers to one as secondary
