What BRAND of webcam? Does the Control Center see it? etc.

it isnt recognized when i type kudzu -p

the cam is an earthlink sprint webcam

control center doesnt see it either

Is it USB? Does it show up in lsusb? It might have a Veo/Xirlink chipset, for which there are Linux drivers. A couple of relevant links:
