cloop errors

i've just downloaded mepis 3.4 released on nov 21.and i have burned to disk.when booting up from disk i get cloop errors.why am i getting clooperrors.i burned to a clean disk at a slow speed 4x.do i have a bad download?john

I'm downloading from distrowatch, that's were he got his. He going to try a reburn after he gets more cd's
did a reburn with new cd

I have the same problem golden45; I also burned from the link on distrowatch.com. Got these errors on two different laptops (one and AMD processor and one and Intel); both have earlier versions of MEPIS loaded. Makes me suspicious that the .iso from this link may be bad. I am going to look elsewhere for another download also.

Looks like the following mirror has a "good" MD5 sum and is about the right size for a MEPIS distribution.
http://ftp.wustl.edu/pub/linux/distributions/mepis/SimplyMEPIS_3.4-1.rc1.iso
Its downloading now.
