Install of SimplyMEPIS 3.4-1 RC1

In the past I had installed SimplyMEPIS 3.3.1 on my IBM ThinkPad T22
with CrystalClear SoundFusion sound card with no issue and it would
come up just fine. This release had issues bringing up the sound card.
I had to explicitly run alsaconf to enable the sound. Other than that
it looks good so far.
after running alsaconf, run

after running alsaconf, run 'alsactl store' to save the settings.

thanks ... will try 'alsactl store' and see if it works ...

Every time I turn on my box, it seems like I have to re-run the alsaconf to get the sound back ... this was not an issue in the previous release.
