SoHo Server 3.3.2 Help!!!

I have a server already running with getting DHCP, but it doesn??t work with static IP. All the services run ok, but I can??t access remotely. I worked with ifconfig in order to configure static IP, broadcast, gateway and mask. So, this is not the problem (I think).
What can I do?

hit the "clear firewall" button and test your setup.
DO NOT just leave it that way if it works. (as we say around here you are in Waggin and dragin mode. If it does work I'd be more then happy to help you setup your firewall correctly. Just set up some complex setups for testing so its fresh in my very limited mind.

If you've got DNS and can PING, it isn't in the lower net layers. I'd bet your firewall has you blocked out. Try opening up ports through the firewall into the machine. The default is pretty restrictive.
