DCC Kernel Components
Hello Group;
I am sorry if this is a real annoying question, or newbie, or whatever you wish to call it.
What is this annoucment for. Would I a novice need to do something with it. Could not those who make such annoucements consider adding something for us novice users. This is not a complaint, just a request.
I usually do not upgrade, just wait for the new release.

I guess some announcements
I guess some announcements are not only for newbies... as a rule of thumb if you don't understand it, than it's not for you, but they still need to make this kind of announcements for people that understands them.

Hello AdrianTM,

Well, you need the kernel
Well, you need the kernel headers if you need to compile something against the kernel.
Another option, if you use old Mepis but for some reasons you want the new kernel you can install it from Mepis repository.
Also since those modules are Mepis specific is good to have them in the repository. For example if you remove the kernel (let's say by mistake) and you don't have that in repository you don't have where to get it back -- only by reinstalling Mepis.
