Unable to locate onthego device

I am running 3.4-2 RC1 from live CD. I logged in as root and formatted my jump drive (512M) for ISO onthego. A message said it was successfully completed. I then tried to log in as onthego and I get a message on the desktop indicating that the onthego device can't be located and to wait 10 seconds and try again. I've tried several times and nothing. I've unplugged the drive, reinstalled, waited and nothing. Other options?

Thanks,
Mike

Create desktop on the go disc

It does not recognize my drive?
Konqueror has no problem.

Is it the format on it? Fat.32

Any ideas,

Carl

getting onthego to work

I've got on the go working. Here's what I've found. When you boot up the CD you CANNOT have the USB drive plugged in. For some reason once it is set up in fstab the login manager won't see the ISO on the drive. Once you get to the login manager plug in the USB drive and then log in with onthego and it should mount the ISO and log in properly. Only downside is that the USB drive is mounted as root. I couldn't access my MP3s on mine as the onthego user and had to run Kaffeine with kdesu. I checked fstab and the drive isn't put in there otherwise I would have tried setting the proper UID & GID. Although if I could have made that change it would possibly disable the onthego ISO mounting. A double-edged sword. Sad That definitely needs some work. Hope this gets everybody able to use their onthego ISOs until that gets resolved. I would like to see a boot option like Knoppix's "home=" option added that would make life easier (hopefully).
