There's a letter in the letters section about someone haunting Barnes & Noble until they got a copy (Richmond, Virginia).

I just bought the January 2006 issue of Linux Format/DVD version. It cost $15.99. This was in Boca Raton, FL.
It Should Be Available Anywhere
Linux Format is also readily available in Bangkok, Thailand for US$ 15.25 (at current forex). Been buying the issues since Sep 2005, when I became 'enlightened.' It's a wonderful magazine, even for n00bies like me. I'm looking forward to the Feb issue.

DrLiz (or anyone), is Linux Format available in the US? If so, at what price? Or is it better to find a good newsstand to pick up a copy??
