I mailed to:
---------------------------
I have now installed this version 4X's on two computers(both are intel systems p4-p3), there is an inconsistent hotplug error(p3, 4 out of 5 boots - p4 2 out of 5 boots), it happens after the splash screen "press f2" synthesizing initial hotplug events....line38...... When this happens you get no cd drives. It happens when you boot cd or HD, same thing. Are you aware of this problem? If you are aware please post and let us know. Let me know if you need more info. I am aware of the floppy icon problem.

A little more info on this problem:
If you wait for the progress bar to start moving before you press f2 you will have "no" cd problems. Smiling
If you press f2 stright away you will have the hotplug error and no cd drives. So this seems to be more of a timing problem, dev should be able to fix this.

I spoke to soon, the floppy icon problem is still there. Sad
If you mount and the unmount the floppy, no problem, but if you mount and open the floppy and then unmount, the icon shows as being mounted and when you right click you only get the option to unmount, if you click again to unmount you get error that floppy is not mounted. Good luck with this problem.
