one little issue

at first: Mepis is great. this is my first distro where everything is running afetr install. Even Nvidia TwinView which can be very problematic with other distros was just 2 clicks and a reboot away Thanks!

One little thing I miss is a config tool for system services in the Mepis Config tool.
I know there is ksysv but this is not very well structured for beginners. Get inspired by the System Service Tool by mandriva.
There you only have to enable/disable a service by making a cross and you get an explanation about what every service is used for.
You don't have to care about runlevels and other things any more.

BTW: another little thing. kaffeine videodriver is set to xvshm which is much slower than xv. better set to auto by default.
