iPOD Compatibility Has Changed

Hfsplus write support has always been iffy in Linux. In kernel 2.6.15 the write support for hfsplus filesystem has been disabled by the kernel team. As a result, it is no longer possible to upload songs to a Mac iPOD with MEPIS.

If you have a Mac iPOD and you wish to upload songs to it with MEPIS, we recommend you convert your iPOD to be a PC iPOD.
