Work with Synaptic

Each time I have installed a Mepis version, the first thing I did is to run in a
terminal: (after I have checked in Synaptic if FTP US Debian is enabled)
apt-get update
apt-get install apt-listbugs
When I want to install a program from Debian apt-listbugs checks for problem.
It works well but often I have a message ??Program or file Not Authenticated??
I want to know why I have these messages and how I can avoid them. I use only the FTP
Debian and Mepis for repositories.
I check my system with rkhunter, chkrootkit, Klamav regulary: no problem.

because you don't have the gpg keys for the repositories in your root keyring. There are posts here and on Mepislovers about getting the keys if you are unsure.
