N00B Question on CLI

Hi guys!

On the command line, how do I change the name of the ESSID of my wireless connection? I've two access points -- one in the office, another here at home. I noticed that "any" doesn't work anymore as a default ESSID in 3.4-3, and one has to know and input the ESSID name of the access point in the OS Center. So when I have to use at home, I have to enter OS Center and change the ESSID there. I find it too cumbersome, especially since I'm now using only "ifup" and "ifdown" to control my wireless connection.

Would appreciate your help, guys!

Standard command

Standard command is:

iwconfig interface essid your essid

You can set up different wireless configurations and activate them on the cli or in the gui. There are different gui tools to do this like kwifimanager. I know you can set this up conveniently on the cli as well but I haven't roamed with my wireless yet.
