Hello,
I thought I would post this message as an example of a successful
installation of a 3D video card using the built in NVIDIA driver
in SimplyMepis. Yes, I first had some trouble too but I discovered
that my problems were solved when I chose the correct screen
resolution upon initial bootup of SimplyMepis as a Live CD prior
to installation to my harddrive where I chose to use the supplied
NVIDIA driver. The 3D Fireworks screensaver in SimplyMepis is really
cool along with the 3D games that I couldn't play till now. I bought
a GeFORCE MX 4000 AGP 128MB 3D grapics card at Wal-Mart for my Linux
box.

i have the same card and am stuck with 1024 so i will try changing res before install and see if it works for me too
new to linux so don't laugh if i do summat stupid
